G'day Glen,

It was great to meet you at QMHE and put a face to the name! It's always great to cath up with forum buddies.

The Spitty's final pose will be in a flying stance in a 45 degree bank a la taking an oblique photo over a target. I need to find a place here in Brissie that does trophy stands for it.

Glad you like it though. I see that you've been quite busy with the amount of output you've had of late. Great stuff indeed. Plenty of targets amongst them too.

Cheers

Yeah like wise Mick.

Instead of a trophy base, which you can find anywhere, have a look at your local art store, we have Riot Art stores here, they have some great things there.

Yeah been busy. Painted 4 models last night, and have built 3 new ones this week that re ready for paint.

Actually,

Just had a thought. If you go with a plain round/square base from Riot, you could get a photopapr cut out etc of an ariel shot of the land below, and have that on the base.

I was trying to get the model ready for QMHE but it didn't happen.

I was going to download an image of the Table Tennis Centre from Google Earth and glue it to a round base. I was then goint to mount the model above the photo as a bit of a story. I'll keep the base small for the time being so I can put it in the cabinet. Hopefully it'll make it to the comp next year.

Thanks for the reminder about Riot art and craft. I may actually have some bases floating around at home...sowmewhere!!!

Cheers

Mick
