Just saw the Airfix 1/24 Mossie at Hobbycos' city store...$199.00.Includes two RAAF options (both 1 SQN)....and no I didn't buy one!

Yeah saw em last week at Modelsports, $225. Was tempted, but didnt.

Think I'll wait and see what my LHS (Tom's at West Ryde) is selling them for.Have you actually got the room to build and display the brute or are you just going to sit there and greedily fondle the parts !!!

Yes I was surprised at the price.I was expecting it to be in the mid $200 price range.I hope it's a similar price at Tom's, they give a 10% club discount as well.Might help me justify the purchase to the wife !

I reckon that the Hobbyco price is by far one of the cheapest you will find. Remember, Hobbyco beat Toms on the price of the Tamiya Spit, so fair to expect, knowing their history also on Airfix kits (Toms expensive), then go Hobbyco. No longer truly being justified as Robbieco.
