Re: sonofa.....

I think on the TD that tied the game, Tua may have been throwing to the deeper receiver....and that UGA was holding him (not flagged).  I would have to go back and watch again to make sure....which I am not going to do. Point is, it really could have just been luck. Anyway, while I didn't want Bama ...

Re: In the never to early category

Who starts at running back for us next season. KJ and KP history. Do you think Martin is heavy enough to take that beating for a season? Will it be Barrett who I don't think ran the ball a single time but was always passed to. What an easy play to defend!! duh CL. A true freshman? it will be intere...

Re: Enjoying Gus Ball!!!

Agreed.  That glass was before the bowl game and indicative of my expectations of any Malzahn coached team: you never know if you are going to get the full half or the empty half out of Coach Malfunction. There was an old argument floating around these boards of how Malzahn had never had the same QB...

Re: Taking care of business...

How much did Onterio McCaleb and Corey Grant weigh?  We figured out how to use them.

Michael Dyer was a stout little guy, but he was little.

Re: Taking care of business...

If the staff new the condition of the running game, why didn't they try to come up with some new plays to run?

Re: Taking care of business...

If Gus needs to "learn from this" in his fifth year that college football can sometimes injure players so you always need backups ready, well, then this ship is sinking already.

Re: Taking care of business...

OK.  So if Stidham is One and Done, what would you say?

Yeah, he's the best pure QB we've had in quite a while, but we still haven't proven we can ID and develop the right QB prospects from high school.  You might be happy with that, but I'm not.

Re: Taking care of business...

We most certainly do have a talent issue and it is at QB and possibly at RB. This staff must still prove that it can recruit and develop a QB out of high school.  It hasn't done that yet. At RB, we've had some good ones come through here, but we haven't kept enough of them long enough.  Two years ag...
