I found what must be very rare footage of "Kung Fu To'a", a Persian/Iranian martial art created by Grand Master Ibrahim Mirzaii, who was a protege of the Shah, and was financially supported by him in a pilgrimage around the world to learn various martial arts styles and combine them into a new Iranian martial art.
Unfortunately, when the Shah was deposed, Master Mirzaii was shot in the legs and his followers persecuted, the style banned for being too esoteric, too philosophical. He fled to Turkey, then Europe, and then disappeared. His followers continued to train and teach in secret, and now have again begun openly practising their art.
Youtube sensation, the late Ehsan Shafiq, was a practitioner of this style, which includes elements from Tae Kwon Do, Goju Ryu, Southern Shaolin Kung Fu, Yoga, and Tai Chi.
There used to be a Wikipedia article for Kung Fu To'a, but it was a victim of rampant deletionism. We know a thing or two about THAT here, don't we?
