Among the victims of the terrorist bomb attack at Moscows Domodedovo airport on Monday evening, which killed 35 people, there are at least four injured Armenians. The identity of nine people on the list of the dead has not been revealed yet, and there are 10 unidentified people among the 140 injured people.

Karen Mikhail Galustyan, 42, Yuri Albert Vardanov, 58, Gurian Vardan Khachaturov, 65, and Anatoly Ashot Poghosbekov, 58, are on the list of injured.

Gevorg Minasyan, Press Secretary of the Armenian Embassy in Russia, told ArmeniaNow that the condition of the injured Armenians is moderately severe.

Fortunately, there were no Armenian flights at that moment; otherwise the number of Armenian victims could be greater, Minasyan says.

The explosion happened in the arrivals hall of the airports international terminal, at 4:32 p.m. (Moscow time) and according to preliminary data was carried out by a suicide bomber.

On Tuesday, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, saying: I have been deeply shocked and outraged with the news of a murderous terrorist attack at the Domodedovo airport which claimed dozens of innocent lives.

The president of Armenia expressed hope that the undertaken measures will make it possible to expose and punish the culprits and to prevent the repetition of similar crimes.
