Hi! You both answered to my post about my baby Aaron with stomach pain. He's still not better. We've tried alot. Chiropractor didn't work. Money gone... Oh well.
We were at the doctor again yesterday (another doctor), and she checked his rectum. She thought that it might be too small. So we're going to the hospital to check him more. Hopefully next week. She also thought that he has anal tears (?). Like, that the skin is cracked a little.. PAIN!! He had a BIIIG liquid poo there at the doctors (it was everywhere LOL), I'm glad she saw that. So that she understood that he's in pain. He was screaming... So I read both of your posts, and you wrote about this problem... Any thoughts?

THANK YOU WONDERFUL MOMS!

Hi Katarina, I'm so sorry that Aaron and you are going through this. Definitely keep on this until the doctors can give you a conclusive answer. In the interim, I found that A&D ointment was helpful was "bottom pain" for my child. Slather that stuff on, in and around. It will soothe and protect and at least add a little help as you continue to figure this out. It's so hard to see your baby in pain. Good luck and please keep us posted! Best wishes!!

Try Triple Paste. It is expensive, but it works miracles when it comes to healing severe diaper rash. You can order it online, or you may be able to find it at your pharmacy. Good luck!

I agree with both the above posts, but a doctor might want to try something else, and the cause really needs to be discovered....the creams are soothing and will help with discomfort and help heal any tear, but they will recur if the underlying problem is not solved...that's so frustrating for you ! Luckily the tears will be OK in time. Did you find a specialist yet ?

...I noticed you had a ? beside anal tear. It means a little rip around the anus from straining to have a bowel movement, or constipated stools. The liquid could mean either diarrhea or stool coming out around hard stool inside....Sorry for the graphic details ! Sounds gross but the tears heal fast unless let continue. Good luck.
