ALL CHILDREN MUST BE AT LEAST 9 YEARS OLD.
Girls: for the roles of Baby June & Baby Louise.
BABY JUNE (no taller than 53) - Small & adorable. She is the ultimate child performer. Must have a strong belt to an E. Must be able to dance well & do a split. Pointe work necessary, please bring pointe shoes and ballet slippers. Baton twirling a plus, please bring batons if you have them.
BABY LOUISE (no taller than 58) - Gawky, shy and sensitive. Should sing.
Boys: to play the Newsboys.
NEWSBOYS (no taller than 58)- Part of Baby Junes Vaudeville act. Should sing & dance well and have an aptitude for basic tap. Playing an instrument (not piano, drums or guitar) is a plus. If you play an instrument, please bring it. Unchanged voices. Must be able to belt & should sing to an E in your head voice.
Please prepare a traditional musical theater song that is appropriate for your age and shows off your voice & personality. Bring sheet music. Pianist provided.
Bring a picture and resume, stapled together
Children must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must be at the audition site at all times- prepare to wait.
