Bill Berloni was on Fresh Air on NPR today. I was driving and only caught the second half, but the program is available in its entirety on NPR's site.

It's funny: I'm not an animal person at all, but I'm always so engaged when he does an interview; I just love listening to his stories. I just find the whole "accidental career" aspect of it fascinating, considering what he's been able to do with it. In the part of the interview I heard, he told a hysterical story about doing the iconic film shoot with a snake and a naked woman at [a very sheltered] age 19, as well as a few other stories I hadn't heard before. It's definitely worth a listen.

..I had no idea Bill was involved with that famous snake photo of Nastassja Kinski...the Berloni-Baloney story was funny, and it was interesting to hear that Andrea and SJP were among the best working with Sandy. But most of all, Bill's affection, dedication and respect for animals were clear. I can't wait to read his book.

Thanks again ,Eliza
