Hello! If an audition posts a certain age range, yet you are only 3 months away from being in that range, is it bad to go ahead and try? Thank you!

No, it is fine if you are 3 months shy of the age range unless they specify that you must be AT LEAST 18 years old. If you are not, they will not see or hire you. It means they do not want any minors, although you could also tell them when you will turn 18 and let them decide.

Thank you! It is definately ages 14 - 17. So, the "18" does not apply. I feel better now!

Sometimes it means you have to "look" 14-17 so go for it.

if it's ok to ask... what are you auditioning for ? (i mean which musical if it's a musical). if my question is too "privat" ("indiscret") just ignore it, i'm sorry, i'm just very curious. anyway, good luck!
