So who else has watched all the new youtube vids? (thanks to Cecile for posting). Did anyone else find themselves thinking it was just a little bit strange? I also don't understand how the producers and the cast had time to organize, rehearse, and tape all those new numbers on top of 1-2 Annie performances a day. They also had to eat, sleep, and the kids had to do their homework. Must have been some long hours during whatever stretch of time they had to pull it all together.

I thought the 12 Days of Christmas thing at the end was sorta cool (though like the rest of the show, a bit strange).

you know how they sometimes show that Star Wars Christmas Special on TV? They should do the same with this. They should make it a new tradition to re-air this, not only for old times sake, but to educate people. There are far too many people who hear the name "Annie" and think of Aileen Quinn (I used to be guilty of that myself, until I saw old clips of Andrea on youtube and saw the light). I think it would be really cool for people to see the very first Annie on their television sets!

...for old times' sake ! I think it it just "old," not strange really, but I can see what you mean- I don't know that it would be popular today. The kids really looked like they were having a lot of fun. Maybe it was filmed in bits and pieces so it wouldn't be too strenuous for the cast etc ? Thanks, Cecile !
