Had the opportunity to work on one of these many years ago. It was memorable because the owner was blind and, as a hobby, he worked as a gunsmith. This was one of his project guns and one of the few that he failed at. The reason likely is because there are parts of this gun that go sprong! when the receiver housing is removed. Fortunately the schematic is available and I actually had the parts from an old repair station I had purchased the parts from. Nothing very difficult to make for the advanced collector.  And, one of the funnest guns I've ever shot. Had one on ebay for sale about a month ago.
Your stock should not only made of walnut.
