I'm gonna go with the LT 40's again, they seem to have the best fight perfromance envelope for the beginner.
The engine would be OS, that goes without saying.
Also, now that I am playng with the synthesizer feature of the JR7202, im wondering if that should be THE radio we get for the trainer.
A.) It woulld have limitless chanel opportunity so that the student never has to wait for a pin and
B.) when a student shows up with his JR or airtronics branded airplane, its just a couple of clicks to get his freq stored in the 7202.
I now the 7202 would cost a little more than the basic 4 radios, but the features might be worth the extra money

Thats not a bad idea Mack, except the spectrum is a park flier/Heli radio- they currently dont have the range that the 72Mhz radios have. Maybe someday they might increase the range on those radios, but I dont think it will be this year. So I think well have to stick with the 72mhz band radios for now.

Isn't the big Ucando the one Rick Bruce's and his boys were flying this summer?
Last time I saw it fly it was pretyy good. I know Murray Berman has one as well and it seemed to fly pretty good for him too
