We are trying to generate more interest in heli flying.
There are a lot og people asking "where?" "when?" "how?"

If you've got a heli, or want to learn to fly a heli, come out and join us on monday nights.

Of course, fixed-wing fliers are always welcome!

We fly from May to October, weather permitting

We usually start around 5:00pm and fly until dark

Come and join us if you can

Hi everyone- I wanted to keep this thread primarily for announcing the monday night heli flying during the summer.

For those of you asking all the heli questions here, dont worry, I moved those questions to the questions section of this forums.

You can read the thread by clicking here:

Hi Rob. No, Monday nights is not just for heli's, people who fly other aircraft are more than welcome. Just to theres no missunderstanding, I'm talking about mondys during the summer *at the field*. (just in case you confused that with monday night indoor flying during the winter at the Sacred Heart gym, which is mostly indoor elelctric airplanes and the odd heli)
Thanks,
Max

To be honest I am more of a heli guy. I am more worried about being limited to only one night a week. I plan to get plane as well but would like to be able to fly heli more than the once a week.

Indoor?
Odd heli??

Do tell,

Rob

Hey Robm
Heli flying is not limited to only monday(one day per week) this is just a day where all the heli guys know that the can get togther and be assured that other heli flyers will be there. I am at the feild about 3-4 times a week, though i dont fly heli's their is always someone flying a one.

Hi Rob. Glad you went out and had a look, I hope you liked it. As I mentioned in the other heli thread (in the questions section), this winter I have classes on monday nights so I have been mising all the indoor flying.

I hope you had a chance to talk to some of the guys there, they are all really nice people. The guys that I know are allways there are Dave Gambell, Ed McMahon and Dave Henry. All are excellent indoor fliers and are very helpful, so if you have any questions, do not heistate to approach them and ask,, I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you out or answer any questions you may have.

Hi Max.

I've come out a few times now to watch the group and wondering if I could bring out my Blade CP Pro next Monday to see how I like flying in the gym with a group of people before joining the Aurora club?
