I normally do my solo trip in the park between mid May to early June, but because of going ft at work and my schedule changing it was not possible. I haven't been up in the fall on a solo in almost 10 years but it's still my favourite time to trip/camp in the park. The nice warm days filled with colours and void of any bugs and the cool nights, perfect for fires, star gazing and sleeping. Headed up on the 11th and coming out on the 14th. Going to base camp on Magnetewan, access #3 and do a bunch of day trips. Can't wait to share the trip report and photographs when I return.

Cheers,
Zen

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to hear about the trip and see the pics. Are you going in September?

Make sure you try and get the site right beside the first 4 where it says 448 on Jeff's map in the middle of the lake. By far the best site on the lake!!

I prefer the site closest to Little Eagle. The site in the middle is a nice one as well. :D

The first night of my first ever canoe trip which was also solo was spent on that site! I had the time of my life! For some reason I just love how there is the rock wall behind the site i was talking about..!
