BUT it's just another perfect example of why I do NOT put my dogs out in the YARD, where they could come within "trouble distance" of any scaredy-cat SIMPLETON busy-bodies, children, deliverymen, neighbors, old farts, passersby, visitors, etc. -- Those types are their OWN worst enemies, but my poor dogs would pay the price with their LIVES if an accident ever happened >=(

Once again, the dog is going to pay for poor ownership.

Becky, how is it that one of your dogs wound up in a situation where is was adopted and then poorly supervised?

decided to place him out last year without telling me.I only found out a few months ago.We had quite the discussion on contract violation. She said he had a hip that wouldn't pass OFA but there is no record of him being submitted to OFA.

That part of FL is pretty much known as idiot central. It doesn't surprise me that they are being that retarded its just really really horrible that they've done what they've done and I hope something gets done about this.

My parents live out on Melbourne Beach, they seldom venture onto the mainland, but the rules are the same there, very strict with the big dogs, plus an Akita bolted from the show ring last year up on the Space Coast and severly injured an older woman. So, the deck is going to be stacked against this poor guy. Old people who can't get out of their own way rule the roost down there and they don't like big dogs.

poor dog I hope everything works out for him. I do believe they should not have left the dog out in front of there house like they did(I wonder if they had it on a leash or chain or was the yard fenced or was it loose in there front yard) but on the other hand it is there property and they should be allowed to have there dog in there yard without a bunch of nosey old people getting freaked out because a dog talked to them. But that is not how this country works anymore and thats why you have to keep your dogs under complete control because they will take away your dogs right to be a dog. Sorry for the rant I get upset when I see things like this.
