It had been several days since the hatching and Soraya had been a dutyfull attendy of the infirmary in all that time. Day by day though the little green firelizard that she had lovingly named Pix had grown stronger and stronger. To the point were she was now quite active and actively getting herself into trouble.
Even now the firelizard was actively clambering along one of her arm and it wouldn't be the first time the little creature had torn one of her shirts. But as far as Soraya was concerned, she was well worth it and she was actually glad the green had enough energy and was active enough to even do so. She hadn't been flying yet though. But she wasn't sure if she was suppose to.
It was one of the questions she'd been wanting to ask the brown rider V'nine, who had been helping her nurse the green hatchling to a healthy state again.
She entered the infirmary, looking around for the brown rider. Pix now having taken a perch on her shoulder and almost comically mimicking her as she looked around.
The pair were greeted wih a warm smile by one of the Helaers and directed toward a rear alcove, along with "V'nin, you have another patient waiting." A few moments later, the brown rider appeared from the alcove, rubbing a drying cloth between his hands and the start of a retort on his lips. Whatever he had been on the verge of saying was lost as a welcoming smile settled on his face. "Greetings you two." He said as he reached out and, after letting the flit confirm it was indeed him, gently rubbed the green's eyeridges.
"Considering I gave Pix a clean writ the other day, I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon." A rather authoritative chirp came from the alcove V'nin had just been in. He gave Soraya a bemused look and rolled his eyes."You cannot always be the hatching egg, Drell." An incredulous chitter was the response, to which the rider couldn't help laughing.
