A'ron of bronze tymareth - adressing S'ynn and Cyrene

He watched the serpentine creatures hatch one by one. They weren't ugly per say... but they reminded him a little too much of winged tunnelsnakes for his taste. He really wasn't sure why he was standing amongst those trying to impress. But a rumble from Tymareth reminded him and he sighed, scratching his head a little"Fine fine you great big bully..." he muttered under his breath before turning to Cyrene as she adressed him and S'ynn about the yellowish glidelizard.

He tilted his head slightly and looked towards Tymareth. Male the bronze confirmed before widening his eyes a little A'ron be caref-. Just as the bronze rider turned to his peers he came face to face with a small orange creature that hissed insistantly at him and nearly jumpd.

Don't gape at it! feed it! The bronze told him exasperated even as A'ron very gingerly picked it up by it's long serpentine body" Hello...there... right food uhm..." he looked around and grabbed a bowl"here you g- hey! don't do that you'll choke!". As soon as the glidelizard was pressented with the bowl it dunked its head into it. But at the bronze riders cries, looked up, food in mouth, tilting its head in confusion.

"Well uhm... I guess you're fine...then? as you were" the bronze rider told it awkwardly as the quartz swallowed and just stared at him expectantly. " Shards... alright alright.." he muttered feeding it one of the pieces of meat. He felt...kind of stupid, standing there with the glidelizard and acting like a newly impressed wherry headed weyrling unsure of what to do.

Lyra and Aloheth had been practicing out above the compound with some betweening, trying to make out if it still worked after all those turns frozen. They had had to be very careful about traveling between time as well, and since they were so distracted, they almost did not hear the call for the hatching creatures. Thankfully they did catch Bashemath's warning.

"Glidelizards? What are those?" Lyra said aloud in a tone of curiosity.

Aloheth made a slight trilling sound, whinging around in a tight circle back towards the weyr, picking up speed. It was best they make their way back now since it seemed a bit chaotic."I don't know love, but do you want one? I know you still miss your little Syl, even I liked the little brown lizard. Sometimes he would scratch my back." She hummed warmly at the thought.

"Why not!" Lyra exclaimed, a smile growing on her face. "It would be fun to have another friend!"

So together rider and dragon dove down towards their rooms, landing in a sprawl just inside the rider quarters. Lyra could hear the commotion from rooms away and waved her dragon back. "Sounds like a lot of people packed in, you should probably stay here.

Aloheth made something of a sniffing noise. "Fine, I shall go bother one of the other dragons, seems like most of them are close here to their riders." And so she turned her attention to the other dragons, and Lyra heard heard her communicating with them in the background.

Lyra of course sprinted out of her room, almost slamming into A'ron from behind. "Sorry!" She exclaimed, squeezing around him and grabbing a piece of meat from a nearby bowl, ignoring any cries of protests that might have been sent to her.

She saw that most of the creatures had hatched and chosen someone, but she still stood there hopeful. Yes she was late but maybe not too late?

Two eggs left, and three glidelizards left. The Culver's Root Egg and The Prairie Smoke Egg. Unsurprisingly, since it had been moving for quite some time now, The Prairie Smoke Egg beat out The Culver's Root Egg, The shell of The Prairie Smoke Egg finally buckled under the onslaught of the hatchling within, and a Beryl's head poked out of the collapsed shell. The Beryl slide out of the egg easily, looking around. She was quick to slide away from her shell and away from almost all of the people, focusing on someone in the back of the crowd. Then there was the poor little Quartz. He'd wandered to the edge of the crate, and without paying attention, nearly fell off. He flapped his wings as he realized his front end had gone out into space, and was caught quickly by a kindly hand. Apparently exhausted, the little quartz, still all covered in wood bits, curled up and went to sleep. That just left The Culver's Root Egg. It split evenly down the middle, and out came a quite unusual and stunning Feldspar, who wasted no time. He didn't look at the remnants of the clutch, of which he was the sole remainder, but instead headed directly for Haelkathzyriem, snapping his jaw irritably at the lack of food that was clearly not being presented to him in a fashion he approved of.

.../Pet Height///: 4.7 feet long

.../Pet Markings///: This gal is a gorgeous example of a blue-green Beryl. The front of her body is a deeper blue, while the back of her body is far more emerald green. Along all of her body, a leaf green stripe appears along her back, curling down her sides. All over her wings, her hips, and a little bit on her shoulders, although it doesn't go down her arms, a bright turquoise color appears. All of these colors are rather close in vibrancy, and vary only a little bit in hue, and so her hide shifts cleanly from one color to the other without it being totally clear where one color begins and the other ends.
.../Pet Personality///: Nosy, intrusive, devoted, glutinous, tired

.../Pet Rank///: Quartz
.../Pet Gender///: Male
.../Pet Height///: 2.9 feet long
.../Pet Weight///: 160 g
.../Pet Markings///: This boy is rather pale compared to many quartz. His hide is mostly a very creamy yellow-tan color, although slightly more yellow than anything else. It appears as the base color of his hide in all areas except a very few, which are scattered across his body and appear grey underneath the pale yellow. Overlaying all of this are darker grey-tan markings that crisscross all over this boy's body. Actually, these secondary markings look like shading for the creamy yellow, and make him look like he's wrapped in old bandages, just a little bit.
.../Pet Personality///: Vague, distracted, daydreamy, bemused, obliging
.../Bonded's Name///: TO BE FILLED IN BY ADOPTER

.../Pet Gender///: Male
.../Pet Height///: 3 feet long
.../Pet Weight///: 210 g
.../Pet Markings///: This boy is mostly grey, or mostly electric turquoise, depending on which way you look at him. The top half of his body is covered in a medium tone grey that has a very light green hue to it, and the bottom of his body is a vibrant turquoise. These two colors blend seamlessly along his sides. Squiggles of an even brighter light turquoise is squiggled up his sides and all along his body. The squiggles have far more defined edges, and are barely distinguishable from the color on his belly, although very clearly different from the grey. His legs and tail are also completely covered in turquoise.
