First up came the B25 from Airfix. Then, while I was sniffing that plastic, another delivery brought a pot of Humbrol 94....and a Roden Gotha GV.

A couple more things over the weekend - Tamiya 1/24 scale Mercedes-AMG GT3 and 1/35 scale Archer SPATG and La Legende Heller (a 60th anniversary set containing the Heller 1/100 scale Caravelle(their first kit) and prototype Concorde and JC Carbonel's history of Heller (in French, so it might take me a while to read it)).

@peebeep - From the box art, I take it the Gnat has "Hot Shots" film markings? (Most obvious point being "THE NAVY" service titles if you've not seen the film)

This is rare these days for me, (only the 3rd kit I have bought in 8 years), (I have been married for 8 years), and bought it for several reasons. Firstly, I had a $50 Paypal voucher to use, and I'm bound to lose it, before, I could work out what to spend it on. Secondly, I have had my eye on this kit for a number of years, and it was not getting any cheaper.

Thirdly, the only way I can keep track of what models I have got, is to use the index of reference books, and this is the last Hawker Aircraft I had to collect, using this book as a reference:-

It lists 113 different type of Aircraft, that flew, during WW2, (or just prior, or after). Out of that 113, I have now collect 103. There are far more Aircraft that are not listed in this book, (my recently completed S23 just gets a mention, under the Sunderland page), as I have at least 4 British Aircraft, that are not in the book. Does anyone else do something similar to this, so they don't double up?
Mike
