Lovely Phantom...

Try changing the MACRO setting on the camera for close up pics, they shouldn't be out of focus then.....

Gents,

First of all, sharp-looking Phantoms!!

Secondly, I have no idea how many times this kit was re-boxed by Revell and/or Monogram but evidently it was on at least 3 occasions.  If you go to the post here you'll see a different number as well as a reply by me where I link my build of the same kit with a different number!:
http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.o ... phantom+ii

Just a thought, but I'm wonndering if, when a kit such as this is released numerous times under different numbers if perhaps on this Forum the posts could somehow be merged into one with the various manufacrurers & kit #s listed?

Third, regarding the 2nd Phantom posted above in this particular thread, it appears to be an 'E' model rather than a 'C' or a 'D' so perhaps that deserves a thread all it's own?

Ratch - Thoughts?

Cheers!

Rick

Nice Phantom magpie. You gotta love the Luftwaffe past and present for amazing camo schemes.
A philosopher once asked, "Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?" Pointless, really... "Do the stars gaze back?" Now *that's* a question.

The only let-down is the decal sheet. The decals are very thick, like Braille and prone to silvering unless very careful. It also comes with a grey scheme if the anniversary garishness is not to your taste.

Fantastic builds- good to see a "clean" Phantom- it looks very different.
