A friend of mine has sent me a 3D kit of an early wartime Watch Office found on RAF stations built around 1939/40.

He converted my 4mm drawing of this tower onto his 3D programme and this is his first output. Many thanks to Bill for sending this to me.
He also intends to produce 3 other buildings associated with 'Flying Control' so a small diorama is potentially in the offering ?

I really ought to get into this technology so I can produce the same for the UK market ?

alongside my 40 thou plasti-card version  . . . .

Lots of potential with 3D printing for all sorts of things. Your watch office looks to have turned out really well.

Nice 👍The walkway. On the printed one it´s slatted or are they the strutts to support the walkway?
I knew the truck didn´t want to hit me....it had Dodge written on the front!

Paul
The original walkway had slatted timbers across the beams, the beams protruded out of the front wall.
These beams also formed the wood floor section of the front 'Control room' and rested on a sill inside.
The kit provides the slatted timbers,  also included are the railings !!

Bill has yet to make a decision about printing more off and as to the cost, I have no idea . . . .
