Santa is one of the most majestic characters in the history of our culture and I really think he should look the part :) . I especially love the gold trim on this picture.

This is the 10th Anniversary Annual Norco, CA Holiday parade poster.

Norco, CA is known as Horse town UJSA.

They have Horse trails instead of sidewalks!

I hope you like it too!

I like this one a lot. He looks totally mountain manish and a little eccentric... but you would expect Santa to be eccentric so yea :D .

Hi Cecelia,
Hi Julie,
Hi Nathanial,

I decided that Santa has been getting enough publicity for this year
I thought I'd close out the year with a picture of one of his many helpers *~

Hi Julie,
You know what they say...
"Behind every great man there is a woman" *~

The first printed citation I can find is from the Texas newspaper The Port Arthur News, from February 1946. This was headed - "Meryll Frost - 'Most courageous athlete of 1945'": "As he received his trophy, the plucky quarterback unfolded the story of how he 'came back'. He said 'They say behind every great man there's a woman. While I'm not a great man, there's a great woman behind me.'"

The use of the phrase in that quotation suggests it was well-known at the time, and may be much older than 1945.

I say it is one lucky man who can claim a red head. Santa is claiming this redhead with a gun who is guarding the presents until they are delivered to their rightful home!
