German Cisnes over Spain: The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch

There seems to be some new interest on the forum concerning the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. Hereby a pictorial overview of the Spanish cisnes or cigueñas, including some pictures published before on this forum. If you follow the links as stated under Source you will get a pretty complete picture of this nice little birds life in Spanish skies.

The first six aircraft transferred to Spain were early Fi 156A types and were operated by the Legion Condor.

Parece que hay un nuevo interés en el foro relativo a la Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. Queda un panorama pictórico español de los Cisnes o "cigueñas", incluyendo algunas imágenes publicadas antes en este foro. Si usted sigue los enlaces como se indica en el "Origen" usted obtendrá una imagen bastante completa de este poco agradable la vida en las aves de cielo español.

Los primeros seis aviones transferidos a España fueron tipos Fi 156A y eran explotados por la Legión Condor.

These aircraft were coded 46o1 46o6 and were not used as observation aircraft, but mainly for liaison duties and as personal hacks. The first four aircraft arrived in late 1936 and were delivered to Stab/88.
