I can't believe it's been so long since anyone's posted on the activities forum.
So, I'd just like to say, I'm still here, and still doing 'activities'
A new mountain bike centre opened close to me, it's got fast downhill tracks with big jumps, so I was going frequently until I messed up while in the air and landed sideways, catapulting me (bad elbow and shoulder first) into the ground. It took 4 months before it all started feeling 'normal' again, so I've now added an armoured shirt with shoulder pads to my biking ensemble.
Otherwise doing what I can to stay active (now I'm 40! gulp), but everything seems to be a little bit harder and a lot more painful, especially now my kids are old enough to show me up.

Nice one Phill - if you've any 'go-pro' type footage we could use it on the video that we're (very slowly!) compiling
