Hello, doctors and patients ~ I recently acquired a sweet little Shelby, but he has an unsightly injury to his poor 'tennies.

It looks like it was a fairly clean break, since you can tell where it was snapped, and it looks like it might fit back together the same way. However, I'm not as familiar with Shelby anatomy as I am with Furbys... so I don't know if the white cords attaching the end need to be put back somewhere inside, like if they were pulled out from where they're supposed to be... or if it's something I can do without disassembling him (which I'm not crossing my fingers about).

Any suggestions?

That’s a very cute Toad Shelby - congrats on getting him!

I, too, have a Shelby whose antennas are broken just like the ones in yours...

You don’t have to open up Shelby if he still reacts when you tickle his tennies. Simply try sticking them back into Shelby, turn him on and see if he reacts when you move them back and forth. I believe the white wires are for detecting if the tennies are being moved and as long as they have not been pulled out too far to break or disconnect, you can simply glue his tennies back in place.
