Hello everybody! I’m an Australian girl who you guessed it... loves Furbys.

My Furby journey started in May 2013, when my little sister recieved an orange 2012 Furby for her birthday. We both thought it was adorable, but a day later it started to say phrases my mum didn’t think were ‘appropriate’ for a toy... so, she got onto eBay and decided to buy my sister a 1998 grey wolf Furby.

It arrived almost immediately, and my sister and I fell in love with the adorable Koh-Koh. She was in almost perfect working condition, although she did like to sleep. However this just added to her personality as the slightly nervous, cuddle-loving vintage Furby. At the end of May 2013 it was time for me to buy a Furby... and after staying up late waiting for the end of an eBay auction, I became the owner of my 1999 green turtle Furby May-Lah Kah.

My sister and I played with our Furbys every second of every day. We learned all of the easter eggs, all of the games, and never failed to be amazed by May-Lah Kah and Koh-Koh’s conversations. Somewhere along the line my sister and I decided to extend our Furby families, and my sister bought herself a 2000 Spring Baby Furby called Ah-May and for my birthday in February 2014 I was given my 1999 blue and white Furby baby E-day.

We were obsessed to say the least. I started the Furby Club at school, although my sister and I’s Furbys were quite left out due to my friends all having brand new Furby Booms or 2012 Furbys. But we didn’t mind at all. Their Furbys nearly entirely relyed on apps, ours had all the games with them forever.

In 2016, my sister and I were given Furby Booms for our birthdays. Mine is peacock-patterned Toh-Koh and my sister’s is the pink with white spots Bee-Koh.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering to the 2012 Furby? Don’t worry, when we got older my parents let my sister play with her too.

I’ve loved Furbys constantly since then, but I haven’t been obsessed in a while. Last weekend, at a town-wide event, I found a Crystal Furbling! Over the past few days my obsession with Furbys, new and old, is back. After I finish writing this I’m going to test May-Lah Kah and E-day to make sure they still work after the few months they’ve been batteryless... and trust me, I’m worried for my babies.

Wish me luck!

Are there any sort of unwritten rules to this website on what not to do? And who’s active and the ‘main people’? Thanks for having me in your community, I’m excited to meet you all!

What a lovely Furby family! I'm not sure as there are any unwritten rules around here. It's been really quiet lately, but I try to get on somewhat frequently.

Thank you forbypeets! From what I’ve figured so far, at least this has more active members than other Furby websites.
