Hi guys this September in Rhode Island there's gonna be an event called Has Con and I wonder if they will announce something for furby? We just have to find out and see :)

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Has Con seemes to be aimed more towards hardcore fans of their most popular products. my Little pony, Transformers, Star Wars, GI Joe, that sort of thing. I'm pretty sure if the Furby Connect line isn't already at death's door it probably will be pretty soon. They just picked the worst possible time to introduce a new Furby line. Hatchimals pretty much stole Furby's thunder last Holiday season and the $100 price tag certainly didn't help matters.
Furby has a few die hard fans but nowhere near as many as the lines I mentioned above. Those lines are where the money is. And they are who Hasbro is targeting with this thing. I'd be surprised if things like Furby and FurReal Friends are ever even mentioned. I hate it but that seems to be the way things are going these days.

Well, we'll have to wait and see. Besides that, I highly doubt that there will be any news for Furbies. Hasbro has had a terrible business tactic for some time.

Well that's good. I wonder what exactly will happen with Furby at HasCon. It's be nice if they announced a new line but I doubt that'll happen.

I don't think Furby is actually going to be at Hascon, I just think they posted it on Furbys Facebook page to get the word more out there.

Yeah, that's probably true. I don't think Hasbro thinks of Furby as one of their stronger brands. It's just something to trot out every few years, make a little money then retire until another five years or so pass.

Maybe they are going to announce a furby that is smaller and interacts with the furby connect like a party rocker or furbling. I remember when I first got the app I remember this thing used to come up saying which furby creature are you going to play with. It just had the furby connect with no other options. That might be a sign that new furbys will come out. I am curious to see which furbys will come out next.

I hope you're right about that.I also hope that if new Furby creatures are released they're more interactive than Party Rockers and Furblings. And a little animatronics would be nice even if it's only a moving mouth. Party Rockers and Furblings were disappointing due to the lack of those features. And it's not like they couldn't add a moving beak to the Furblings due to cost. Little Live Pets birds had them and they only cost $15

Something that connects to the app and is highly interactive with the connect would be awesome. Maybe a different type of furbling.

Agreed, they should try something unique for once instead of using the same business strategy, make a toy and have an app go with it. That's what Hasbro seems to be doing with the Furby license nowadays. I don't think they will change that strategy any time soon though.

Might want to ditch that image code at the bottom of your posts. It doesn't seem to be working and it stretches your posts to the point that the final words on each sentence get cut off.

The problem is, I don't know how to make the image display. Funny thing is, I used to know but now I don't. Do you know how to have the image displayed?
