Hello collectors/Furby lovers, I've decided to make a custom Furby based off the chick one from series 5. Does anyone have an idea of what fabric I should use for making a custom Furby. I want it to best resemble the official Furby hair and have that same feel to it. I would appreciate any reccomendations below.

I am a sewer, so I can help you here. I recommend going to Fabric.com and buying this fur

Shag fur is very good and long. It comes in many colors and can easily be trimmed with dog hair clippers.

There are many kinds of faux fur, like Gorilla looking a bit wet, monkey being like shag but shorter, yak being curly, etc.

I suggest ordering a few swatches before making a decision so that you are sure it is right.

For a less fluffy furby, I suggest buying the monkey fur variety, or just clipping a shag fur. I am still unsure what kind of fur hasbro used for furbies though, so again, buy some swatches and compare them.
