I have a comatose tuxedo furby. When i was spinning the motor, i noticed the battery cover was getting warm and i smelled something electrical. I knew that was not normal. The furby is JT so that could explain that. Can anyone explain this? Im worried that my tux furby is never going to meet my other furbys.
EDIT: Sadly i can not save the poor tux furby. It turns out the battery cover was getting hot because something in the circuit board shorted. Circuit board damage cannot be repaired.
RIP tux furby

Aw... I've had a few like this. My all-black G1 Furby had this issue. I took it apart and used it for parts. Came in handy. He was basically free anyways, so not much of a loss in the long run.
