Running Reports in Basketball 2017 Version

I have had problems running box scores and reports in the 2017 version.  The windows flashes on and off, and I'm forced to go to task manager to close the program.  I have run the recent patch.  I have had to open version 2016 in order to view box scores and reports.  Any solutions?

I had the same problem with the 2016 version and encountered it a couple of times with the 2017 edition, but nothing to the level in the 2016 edition.  Did you have any other game programs running at the time?  I've found that if I've had another game running (say baseball, football, hockey, etc.) this seems to happen more frequently (am guessing there may be a file or a .dll library file that is in use and the basketball game can't access it, so it gets stuck in an infinite "go loop" of sorts and can't complete the action of displaying the box score.  Try that as a start.

If you experience the same issue with only the basketball game running (I did with the 2016 edition, which makes me think something got corrupted with it happening so much when i had multiple games running) I'd suggest reaching out to Dave directly - e-mail him as complete detail and information you can so he can advise.  Be aware hockey development and beta testing is in full swing, so don't be put off if he takes a little while to get back to you.  When I reported the issue to him last year, he sent me a newer version of the basketball file, which helped.

So, there are a couple of options for solutions.  Hope this helps!

Did you ever find out what was causing this or resolve it? I just purchased the 2017 game and have the exact same problem. I've been playing the 2012 version for a long time and just made the switch... everything's great except this.

No, not resolved.  I open the 2016 version to run reports.  No issues with reports with that version.

Love the game but it could definitely use some enhancing. Game Ticker doesn't work for me for some reason, pbp narrator constantly announces the first name initial during substitutions which hurts the pacing of the game. When resuming saved games it comprises the game film, player form goes blank where it states "Regular Season" etc. Hopefully these minor details will be addressed at some time.

Brother, send these observations directly to Action HQ via e-mail. That's the best, most direct way to ensure they get the message and can (hopefully) effect change moving forward.

I just purchased the 2018 version of the basketball game.  I am having the exact same problem that I reported with the 2017 version.  I have to open the 2016 version of the game in order to view box scores and reports.  Of course, some of the new enhancements are useless when using the 2016 version for reports.
