Come on...get excited!

As a NJ guy, I love when they play the USO in my part of the country.  The weather looks pretty good this week.  Hopefully the USGA doesn't lay Shinnecock barren like they did in 2004!

Haven't heard much hype about it this year, forgot it was this weekend......

Now if only Tiger could actually finally win one again:)

Looking forward to it! Always enjoy golfing early on Father’s Day Sunday with my son and then watching the final day of the US Open!

No kidding.  Shinnecock is eating everyone up right now.  We’re about to get some poor soul shoot in the 90’s, and Rory looking at 80’s.  Complete train wreck.  Will be a very high cut line with hardly anyone under par at this rate.

I wonder what sort of course ratings would be needed in the game to get a distribution of scores like Shinnecock had yesterday?  Only 4 under par, 5 at par or better, and 29 of 80 or higher including a 92.

Major rough, 30 mph winds, 13.5 greens would probably be a good start, although I'm guessing even that wouldn't be enough to nuke the entire field.

Yeah, it’s hard to imagine the game getting Kaymer to an 83, McIlroy to an 80, Day to a 79, Spieth, Woods, Rahm to 78’s, etc. Not to mention anyone to a 92 no matter how bad they’re rated. Might need to experiment with the sort of ratings you suggested and see what happens.

The course is 400+ yards longer than last time. We're working on an update that lengthens the course and improves some of the sloping and green contours. Should play pretty accurately when you match the conditions.
