As I near completion of my 1970s baseball card template photos (only 3 teams left to go) I am wondering if anyone can suggest the best way for me to makes photos available to the APC sports community for download.  Should I host a site myself, and if so, what sites should I use?

I would like to use any free ones if available rather than having to pay.  I currently have all the player card photos saved in folders for each team and would like to have the option to allow people to download them team by team or also in one all inclusive player photo file for the 70s.  Since this is based on my 1970s franchise best file that has 40 players per team roster, There are many photos.  Many of the players have 4 to 6 different photo cards and some of the better known players have up to 9 or 10 options.  Some of the lesser players may have only 2 or so, but my goal was to give users a variety of options when selecting the player photo they want to use.

I am hoping to have this file ready for downloading by the end of April.

Steve, Google sites has fairly robust and easy to use free web pages. I've put my various files for photos and uniforms on my basketball and hockey league sites, both powered by free Google sites.

Try mediafire or dropbox.
Box.net is good for personal storage, but it stinks for sharing.  They limit the amount of d/l's per month and you can quickly hit that limit for a hot release.
