it has been long speculated that the USHL with it's expansion has become more influenced by parental money. In reviewing the list of those drafted and the parent pool of the Chicago players seems theory may be right on the money.

From Alton to Wilmette, Wisconsin to Missouri, Colorado to New York, you sure know the finances of a wide spread group of parents

theorized based on IL. parents. Didn't include all the imports that played Chicago but in reality if you are renting homes, paying for private schools while your kid plays AAA have to assume $$$.

Gust
Miller
Sandler
Wingels
Edelson
Kubiak

Don't have to be anywhere but Chicago AAA to know the $$$ of this group.

I see you made your list shorter, my next questions would be: Do you actually know any of these players, or have you seen them play more than 2 or 3 times? Do you know any of these parents?

I will not bother to ask what history you have that would make you a good judge of talent.

I am also assuming from your statements, these kids were involved in the draft because the family has money, and a spot was purchased for them. Hence the reason behind your post.

Admit that I don't know all the names on the list, but my son has played with Christian Neumann - class kid who works his butt off every time he is on the ice. Congrats Chris - keep working hard!!
