Congrats to the IL boys on the list - great accomplishment. It's surprising that the top 3 scoring leaders in HPHL from CYA mm team were not invited. Really too bad and odd with such prolific scoring years that they weren't invited.

Can't see why CD didnt get a chance, the size of all three hurt
them , listed 5.9 160lbs, 5.8 140 lbs and 5.8 145lbs.
NDTP will take a bigger player over a smaller one 85% of
the time. They have made some huge mistakes by doing this
but its there pattern. 1995 Tyler Cammintia was selected
last season to the 40 camp but was cut, he made a USHL team
and has more points then any player on NDTP U17 or U18.
CD should of been chosen and could be added on, it happens
all the time at the 40 camp. The size of the other two players
along with the heavy amount of assts, not goals didnt help.

The purpose of the NTDP team is to compete nationally. Against the European style of hockey. Also, a comparison of how the NTDP fairs in the USHL will help too.

Don Granato is a complete joke. Thats why top players play elsewhere. USA Hockey needs to wake up!

It's interesting to see that NS wasn't listed and while I know he skated at GB, isn't it possible he won't even get to play next year? As I understand it...the dumbasses at AHAI sought to move JRs age to 17+ only - to rescue NIHL! LOLOL

I would assume of course the DT isn't recognized as a JRs team and thus skirts the age requirement even though they play JR teams? How will that play out for NS unless they grandfather and even then, he only played 11 games...not even rostered.

And the forward list has some good players and some pathetic ones. What did Don do, put a name a hundred cheerios and eat half and take the rest to the DT tryouts??

The four best 96 US players weren't even listed!!!

Offers have gone out to all but 10 spots at the most. Some of the names may well not be listed because they have already declined a spot on the roster.

Is your response suggesting the top four players have received an invite but either:

1) rejected?

2) Or have not responded?

If not responded, when would they need to respond by?

Again, it just leads one to question why one of the four best 96 forwards are not on the list? Given the JRs age debate?

I get why NS would opt out...he's good and likely will get to practice at minimum next year. And NS made BC (who is on the list and highly touted) look like minced meat! And watching him, I will be surprised if he makes the DT team.

And why would JE not reply? I know they are looking to put together a 17U team outside of USA hockey, but it's still a gamble. Why not agree to it and decide from there? It's silly.

The other IL JR player who I understand has NA interest, why isn't he on the list? Some are saying he's one of the best. And while I hear the West coast player is being scouted by the W, but still it's not a done deal?

It just doesn't make any sense!!
