This should be a good early season match up. Shattuck St. Mary's 95's playing the 95 TI team. If your interested the games are at Edge/West at 1 PM Saturday. Location is Bensenville arena and the date is 9-26-2009. And on Sunday Edge/East at 8 Am, (Wow 8 AM) 9-27-2009. But check the TI web site for any time changes.

Shattuck is finishing up tryout camp this week. They have a good mix of former Minnesota Blades and WI. Fire players. There Defence will be much better than last year. With returning Shattuck player and former Fire/Breakaway's top D, (IM). Also with former Breakaway/Blade D (WR) who led all blue liners in scoreing at the Walleye tourney in August. The blue liners have very good size and except for a few tryout camp injuries they will be solid.

As for the forwards, much better than last year. They have added (Mck) who hails from (Sid the Kids) home town. He is good and very physical. He will be fun to watch. They also have former WI Fire/Blades National scoring champion (TC). TI, know him very well, and if left alone TI will have a tough week end. They have added a few other players but the depth will not be the same as the Minnesota Blades Walleye team.

The big question is the goal tending. This will be work in progress. The solid Blueliners will help. But you will get a good sense from these up coming games.

TI is small and fast, it will be a good test for the Shattuck St. Mary's team. It will be tough to win two games against a very good 95 TI team. Shattuck, will be more than happy with a weekend split.

Come watch some of the top young players in North America it will be fun.

I can understand why you would like people to come and watch, because half of them will be back in AA or playing highschool next year due to there size.

I really don't think TI will do as well as you think. The SSM team is solid and talented, and has at least 6 players better than the best player on TI - who might be from FL! This is the same TI team that went 1-4 in MN a few weeks ago? I don't think so. Fans think TI can compete with a good MN team, but they can't. TI success against WFire last year was due to very poor coaching for WF team. By game two, everyone figured the Fire team out and they were out-coached every weekend. Coaching staff at SSM is excellent and they will continue to improve and adjust. Results this year will be more like the recent MN tournament. SSM goes 2-0.

Not the same team that lost in MN. Won Redwing Tournament. Running clock against LC and Marlies in the finals. Just be happy with Al Franken. Douche.
