Nice article on a team that has about 15 Illinois players. Sounds like a fun year for kids.

I just heard the showcase was cancelled, what happened? Too bad after the nice coverage in USA Junior Hockey.

Teams from EJHL and Empire backed out for financial reasons. It would of been nice to see the MNJHL beat up on east coast teams.

The word on the street out here is it would have been a waste of time and money, for no competition.

Stop your nonsense. Trying to market or promote a team on a message borad is not smart, especially when you have no clue what you are talking about.

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE MNJHL IS A TERRIBLE LEAGUE!!!!! AND IT DOES NOT TAKE A GENIUS TO LOOK AT THE STANDINGS AND SEE THAT THE DUCKS ARE A TERRIBLE TEAM IN A TERRIBLE LEAGUE.

WHY ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT WHEN YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF MAKING IT!

PLEASE STOP!

Lets see...

I suppose playing for the mighty NA and NA3 Hitmen would be better? NOT

Umm, I think there were a couple teams that moved into the awesome NA3HL from the MnJHL that are kicking NA3 A$$ right now.

There are some good teams and organizations at every level and there are some really bad ones. It doesnt matter if it's teir 3 or teir 1. And as for player talent/quality, come on. Are you really going to tell me that every kid playing teir 1 is better than every kid playing teir 2? No. And every kid playing teir 2 is better than all the teir 3 kids? No again. Too many cases of politics and money in USA hockey.

Unless your in USHL, the league doesn't matter, it's all about the coach/organization promoting their players to the next level. For some kids that's D1 College, for others, it's D3. Every player has different goals for themselves. that's what makes it so important to match the player to the coach and organization goals, not the league!

You're right and half the USHL doesn't matter either, it's reality.
D1 vs D3? It's the size of the school, not so much the talent but obviously there's more money/ free play in D1.

How do you want to be owned?

"half the of ushl does not matter." that is simply just a false statement. There's 325 players in the ushl and they send a average of 290 d1 hockey commits every year. The left overs are younger players and players who played major jr and lost NCAA status. Does not matter what team you are on if you play two years in this league chances are u will have an opportunity to play d1.
