Those guys look like they know what they are doing, and they even
give you choices of Italian engines, that keeps it all Italian, the
car looks great and apparently has extensive re-engineering.

Here's my argument. Yes that car is probably a blast and yes it's pure Italian. It might even be more comparable to a modern sports car than our original in addition to just sheer performance.

Here's the simple point. If you are going to go to the trouble of transplanting an egine with all the attendant possibilities and gremlins, why put ANOTHER finicky (but fun) Italian engine in there. That's why old old vintage buckets and rails and trucks have modern 350's in them,

Why not just put the Honda in there and you've instantly caught up on years of reliability, better engine management and open-end flexibility for FI and chip tweaking. You've also got OVER TWICE the power...isn't that sufficient to elevate the experience.

Also...considering the prices for the entire Honda packages, including ECU, axles, even LSD, it's a big chunk more cost effective even if you get into the 4-5 grand range. Still a heck of a lot of work though. I'm ready for someone to provide end to end details of the Honda conversion to where it becomes a 'known process," much like what has happened to the Uno Turbo thing.

I'm a bit foggy on the details, and may be mistaken on this, but I think this is the bunch that messed-up Pottsy's car.

Careless neglect, or maybe Breach of Contract, might be better terms. I could have my facts wrong, but the name "Nick Troth" somehow distresses me.
