You can get a rough translation of German to English at
http://babelfish.altavista.com/

The German posting also has this comment about the Highpointers Club:
Absolutes Vorbild ist natürlich der amerikanische "Highpointers' Club", bei dem
es um die höchsten Punkte aller 50 Bundesstaaten geht
(http://www.highpointers.org/ ). Wer also Interesse hat, da einen deutschen
Ableger zu gründen...

According to the Babelfish translation:
Absolute model is naturally the American "Highpointers ' club", at which it can around the highest points of all 50 Federal States (http://www.highpointers.org/). Who has thus interest to create there a German folder...

The Vatican city highpoint is about 20 km south of it! Confusing? Well, the pope's summer residence "Castel Gandolfo" is an offical part of Vatican city. The height is 426 m (Vatican city itself is only 75 m high). Photos at http://home.arcor.de/p-bach/VATIKAN/gandolfo.htm
