They say they don't, but they really do, if you look at their other posts where they are wanting to bomb and invade other countries because those other countries are, a "threat", some day they might get a bomb and then .. who knows??? Because those people are insane and would use those bombs on us. Just like we do on them, but that's beside the point. They're evil. Yep.

I was pondering this on the drive to work. I think it is the mindset that is drawn to Fundamentalism, not that Fundamentalism leads to militarism. I recall knowing a one time Universalist, who as they became more politically radical towards supporting American State terrorism, became less Universalist. There seems to be a wish to divide, to be better, to be chosen, and to have your enemies punished, here, and in the hereafter too.

1) Something to hate, or to have an enemy to focus on, helps fundamentalism thrive.

2) War keeps people employed, and fundies like to work & spend money.

3) War keeps investments growing, and fundies like their comfy retirement accounts.

4) The illusion of "peace here and war over there" helps compartmentalize the "ugliness", and fundies like illusions of peace.

5) Fundies like to feel like the "chosen elite", and as long as there are low-lifes to kill they feel elite.

...that their marriage examples fall short of God's ideal for a marriage? They say their marriages are OK in front of others and even post phony love notes to each other in front of observers but the FACT remains their marriage is NOT WHAT GOD intends marriages to be.

The way one can recognize this sad example of marriage is from the ANTICHRIST WORDS that flow from their mouths. There is no praise and thankfulness in their words to the ONE TRUE GOD, nor a commitment from the heart to make the marriage as God intends it to be.

Instead they show they are of the world and display to observers a FALSE PICTURE of a truly good marriage. It all begins with the husband failing to be the husband he should be

Eph 5:23-29
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself {being} the Savior of the body.
24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives {ought to be} to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;
26 that HE might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.
28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;
29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also {does} the church, (NAS)

When a husband continues with words that are ANTI-CHRIST or ANTI-TRUTH God's word is clear that SUCH A HUSBAND has PRIORITIZED WRONGLY. This husband is FACTUALLY very selfish and has put his own selfish ways even before his wife whom he says he loves. The Bible however says the husband is to love his wife in the SAME WAY that Christ loved the CHURCH...IOW He (Christ) laid down His LIFE for the Church (the bride of Christ) so that God could save her. So it is easily observed that a husband or wife that continuously has statements flowing from their mouths that are AGAINST (ANTI) what God's Word is CLEAR about (TRUTH) without GODLY REPENTANCE, that the marriage may please the man living in the darkness, as compared to the ONE WHO COMES TO THE LIGHT the spouses are factually headed for tragedy.

John 3:19-21
19 "And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.
20 "For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."
(NAS)

Matt 7:20
20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits. (NAS)

Seems to be it in a nutshell. Hold onto illusions, rather than truth.

Go to Church and enjoy the message of peace and love for a couple of hours, and then back to the good old primitive, tribal, exclusive mindset for the rest of the week.

There seems to be an inability to put one's self in anothers shoes. A lack of empathy. But that's how "Chosen" usually are, there is a psychopathology at work.

The hatred is there to begin with. Religion gives a home for it, God approved hatred.

Digressing a bit, but that seems to be the case. And as you say, mammon comes first.

I've been pondering that quite a bit.

Is it the religion that CAUSES them to think hostile -ly ... or does religion simply ease their conscience about feeling hostile?

Using simple common sense should tell anyone very quickly, that if a group of people are severely in the minority, they haven't a CHANCE of conquering anyone unless they're exceptionally brilliant. A group of madmen might wreak havoc but ONLY on a very small, limited scale ... which can easily be contained with superior knowledge and weapons.

What have Iranians got? A population of 74 million, as compared to the U.S.'s 300 million? That's enough, granted --IF-- they were really advanced technologically and brain- ally. But just how advanced are they? Heck, they STILL have to import all of their gasoline and fuels from outside country refineries! How the heck are they going to wage any war when they can't even produce their own fuels?

What have they got for manufacturing sophisticated weapons? Pretty well nothing. They have to buy all their weapons from other countries.

A rule of conquest is that a country HAS to be able to produce its OWN weaponry and provide its own fuel to run its own machinery. These are two areas that Germany and Japan focused on very heavily before becoming aggressive enough to wage war.

So then there's this "magic bullet" though .... a nuclear weapon . What could they do if they were to succeed in developing a nuclear bomb?

Well, only as much as Korea has been able to achieve ... or China ... or Russia .... all of whom have been cold enemies at one time or another. Pakistan presently, is probably the biggest looming threat because it has all of the ingredients that Iran is being singled out for: mad Muslims, hostile attitude, a nuclear bomb ....

And yet the U.S. is casually sending drone strikes INTO Pakistan at will, to bomb its citizens. If ANYONE were to be a real threat today -in terms of how Iran is explained by the U.S.- it would be Pakistan. The same "crazy" people, willing to stop at nothing and ... mad as hell at the U.S.

So why isn't PAKISTAN using its nuclear capability against the U.S.? Because it doesn't DARE.

Having a nuclear bomb and being able to use it somehow are two vastly different things. You need sophisticated delivery. That requires space technology. It also requires mass production.

Yes, but .... the argument is made .... they could simply SHIP such bombs in crates, over to the U.S. on cargo container ships.

Well, shit ... if they could do THAT, anyone could do that. Just go to Russia and BUY such specially crafted "suitcase" bombs and send them to the U.S. to blow up in their harbors. Why hasn't this already been done? Probably because the concept of suitcase nuclear bombs is mostly a fabrication of overactive imagination.

Let Iran develop whatever the heck they want. They'll NEVER be any more of a threat than Pakistan, India, China or Korea. They haven't SHOWN themselves to be aggressive or overtly hostile. They mind their own business. Are they crazy and evil? Maybe/maybe not ... but that factor is irrelevant. It's their determination to attack America ... and their ability to accomplish anything that should be the primary concern.

They can't DO anything. Well ... at least they can't do anything unless the U.S. virtually opens doors and invites them to come and strike.

That's what homeland security is SUPPOSED to be guarding ... the homeland. If they do their job, no other country is going to be able to do anything significant. The only reason anything ever happened in the first place is because homeland security was AWOL.

But try to tell that to some rabid fundamentalist Christian. Oh no ... GOD sanctions war and aggression. It just FEELS so good to be right with might.

Who says God SANCTIONS WAR Vince? It just another antichrist manipulation of terms you know nothing about so that you can vainly attempt to fit God into your little box.

If you had any Biblical knowledge whatsoever, (YOU DON'T) you would KNOW that the very nature God is such that whenever a wrong is perpetrated, the wrath of God it put into process. It's all through the Bible, Vince, and it doesn't matter WHO PERPETRATES the wrong, whether it be Israel, Iran, Russia, China, Canada and especially now the U.S.A. under the leadership of this delusional President. Numbers mean nothing. It God be with you NOBODY can beat you. You can see it on this forum.

The problem is that secular humanists (ANTICHRISTS) who still haven't dealt with their sin are trapped in their darkness and are blinded from REALITY and doomed to their fallible intellect are headed for failure after failure after failure. It feels good to be RIGHT and when you're RIGHT, God is your MIGHT.
