explain:

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, "SATAN": thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

SATANAS:

1) adversary (one who opposes another in purpose or act), the name given to

a) the prince of evil spirits, the inveterate adversary of God and Christ

1) he incites apostasy from God and to sin

2) circumventing men by his wiles

3) the worshippers of idols are said to be under his control

4) by his demons he is able to take possession of men and inflict them with diseases

5) by God's assistance he is overcome

6) on Christ's return from heaven he will be bound with chains for a thousand years, but when the thousand years are finished he will walk the earth in yet greater power, but shortly after will be given over to eternal punishment

b) a Satan-like man

PARADOXAL

Now this:

And I say also unto thee, That thou art "PETER", and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Peter = "a rock or a stone"

Who is He speaking to?

And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

That Source you say you are connected to has to recognize Jesus Christ and IF NOT, then its not worth the time listening to. There is NO OTHER WAY!

Jesus is the Way, the truth and Life!

Without Jesus you have none of this!

What is your motive?

If you are looking for spiritual answers, then I suggest you take your questions directly to The Lord, not to man.

If you are laying a snare, then I would wish to answer nothing.

I am not interested in getting into bible verse wars or other pharisiaclal games. I hope you understand.

Response to Yeah Jackie!

The sweetie called me a lying spirit the other day. But he judges me not.

It don't matter to me, Eddie.

Eric once called me the whore of Babylon!

If only I had the inclination, yet alone the energy. Smile.

Poor me. And all I ever do is try and be nice.

Jack has called me a Christ-hater several times.

I like this poem

"Be careful of the words you speak,
And keep them soft and sweet!
For you never know from day to day,
Which words you'll have to eat!"

Hey, do me a favour. Just ask me summit simply, try and be gentle, and I will do my very best.

What is all this quoting about? I was NOT being nasty at all. I told you earlier and this is one you FAILED to quote, you need to lighten up and realise I use a little fun in my posts.

I need to sign off...

Just not interested in preachers. They are all self-ordained.

"But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented."
