There are two types of Literal interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. One is based on the Historical-Grammatical Interpretion method and the other Literal Interpretation is what is called Letterism or Wooden literalism.

These two are distinct and distinquished from each other. The Historical-Grammatical Interpretion method of literal interpretation of Scripture DOES NOT overlook the figures of speech, the symbols, the types, and the allegories that as a matter of fact ARE to be found in Holy Scripture. It is not a blind letterism nor a wooden literalism as is so often the accusation.

Letterism or Wooden Literism, is different in that most of those who have little knowledge of Biblical Interpretation (Hermenuetics) falsely assume that ALL LITERALISTS are WOODEN LITERALISTS, meaning that ALL LITERALISTS attempt to uncover the meaning of the text through a strict emphasis upon a mechanical, wooden literalism of words. This approach often obscures the literary aspects and consequently the primary meaning of the text.

... when people make up their own meanings of definitions or simply redefine them.

People are intrinsically intelligent

When people are put together, they could become a herd
When people turn a herd, they could become sheeple
When people turn sheeple, they could become dumb animals
When people turn dumb animals, they become treated as such

...but not here, so in this case your claim is irrelevant

I pray for Nucc whoever he is Lord that you will reveal the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL to him. I can see that he loves your Word as much as it is in his power to do so. I understand that no man can see YOU FATHER but the SON and whosoever He reveals you to. HOW wonderful it will be when your people are all shod with the GOSPEL OF PEACE....bringing the GOOD NEWS instead of their own understanding of the WORD. Father I pray for this man NUCC and his household. I pray that you reveal yourself to him, in Jesus name, amen.

I also pray for Vince, for Mondo, for Noob, for Striver, for Pope, for truthseeker, for the other truthguy, for everyone on this forum and for all who don't know what they are looking for in their honest search for truth. In Jesus name, Amen
