Was at the game tonight. Saw a veteran team take control and wear down the hawks. I honestly thought this would go to seven games and I vastly underestimated the eastern conference this season. Best of luck at the memorial cup. The better team won, thats for sure.

You've got 17 year olds playing key roles on our Winterhawks team. Kootenay is a much more veteran, experienced team, and earned this win. Good job Ice.

KBF: why can't he use the veteran team? Kootenay was built to win this year. Next season will be slim pickins for the Ice. The Hawks, meanwhile, should be good again, unlike your lowly, oh-so-lowly Blazers.

they were clearly the better team, something I attribute to their experience. They worked harder, played smarter and demonstrated greater discipline. Its not by accident those things occurred.

Just because I claim that the Ice were a "veteran" team doesn't mean I seek to diminish their merit. Nor by the same token to I seek to indicate the hawks should have won in any way shape or form.

Its wasted words on you however. You are a bitter, ignorant person.

PS. Does anyone wish to contest the claim? Its pure numbers.

Congrats Kootenay, go show well at the MC in Mississauga now!

And p.s., we'll still sing "Kootenay Sucks" every time you guys come to Calgary...

...we'd probably leave Niederreiter in junior as he looked far from dominating. He doesn't look like he could play in the NHL at 19 especially if he plays the way he did this season.
