Sea Dog player sliced open by high stick. No call, player is down and injured, still not blown, Shawinigan then scores. Brutal reffing, almost Byblow like. Shawinigan is flying now and the crowd is right behind them. Gormley continues his hot streak.

You expected anything different? It's a WHL ref - Pat Smith

Refs gotta get their sh!t together. But the teams have both done thier"keys to the game"

Sea Dogs got the early start
Shawinigan kept going and didnt give up
Sea Dogs continued thier simple game and got back into it.

to keep his team in it. Huberdeau gets the puck shorthanded, takes a wrister from his own blue line that fools the Shawinigan netminder. A bit of a fluke! But its a 4-3 Shawinigan lead with only 20 minutes left!

Shawinigan iced it with an empty netter. One has to wonder what the case wouldve been like if they didnt score that goal shortly after the highstick. Its all gravy now though we have the Knights VS Cataractes for the Memorial Cup on Sunday!!!

It must be an exciting day for you. The OHL team that is your 'favorite' (at least until another team rich in resources can build a perennial winner comes along) and the quebec back door team that is only competing because the league colluded with them to gift them with their top 3 defencemen at that deadline.

Every year it's the same. You wave your pom poms at the knights, the quebec club or whatever flavour of the month club sportsnet is shoving down everyone's throat the second the blades take their early exit. The only year you didn't do that is when we had an all WHL final, which was the year you were actually silent.

Super fan indeed.

Take a hint, if you reply to yourself 5 times in a row with nobody else responding it means nobody gives a damn. If we don't have access to sportsnet then we have access to the internet. We know what is happening. Why not pretend it's two WHL clubs who aren't the blades playing and quite flooding.

Yeah i get excited every year when the Memorial Cup comes around. If you dont like it, then this really isnt the place for ya. Ill continue to post during the final. GO Knights!(though Gormley and Chaput really do deserve a Cup)
