1st period. The Blades started out flying. Shooting every chance they got. It paid off as Nicholls gets a stick on s puck in close, but it goes off of Morgan Rielly and into the net. Warriors strike back as Makarov tries to cover a puck and goes down, but a Blades D-man kicked it away right to Wyton who shoots it over top of the downed Makarvo and its 1-1. Dzuirzynski mishandles a puck going out of the zone, McIllrath takes a slapper to keep it in and Fioretti makes a nifty tip in front beating Makarov to the left pad side and the Warriors are up 2-1. But with literally ZERO time left, The Blades take a quick shot, it flutters behind Siemens and Collins bangs it home. BOTH the red(goal) and green(period) lights go on. They review it and call it a goal. The goal light can not be operated if the period is over. The scoreboard guy said he has NEVER seen something like that before as the light is wired to the scoreboard. The Blades literally scored at the 20.00 mark of the 1st period.

3rd period. On the powerplay the Blades regain the lead. Stransky makes a nice feed to Siemens at the slot and he wrists it glove side into the net, Benson may have got a stick on it in front, 3-2 Blades. Dont count the Warriors out yet though, Rielly speeds by Dietz causing Dietz to hook him and get the Warriors back on the PP. They would make Dietz pay. A beautiful backdoor feed with seconds remaining and Lyon will send the game to OT.

OT - Darian Dzruizynski blocks a clearing pass and takes a shot, it goes high but back towards him and he buries the rebound to ice it! 4-3 is your final!

*Fight!*
Ehrhardt gives Sutter a cheap shot while he's down. That brings a crowd. Thrower wants to get at Erhhardt but Lyon blocks him off and they beek. Lyon challenges him and Thrower says sure, gloves are off.
This fight is even till Thrower can actually grab a hold of Lyon. Once he does thrower lands a good punch the cuts Lyon open. Give this win to Thrower.

*** 3 stars ***

1 - Andrey Makarov(been a star in EVERY game he's played so far)
2 - Chris Collins - 1 goal and 1 assist
3 - Brety Lyon - 1 goal and a fight

HMS to Wyton, Dzuirzynski and Siemens

Molleken was not present at this game. My guess would be hes with Brodsky giving the final pitch for the cup. Im going to lose sleep tonight. If the Blades dont get it, i hope RD does.

This team seems like the real deal. They played an excellent game and didnt give up(tied the game with seconds remaining) They stuck to thier systems and didnt look back. I can only imagine how good they will be when they return Edmundson, Beach, Svendson, and Howden. The Moose Jaw Warriors will do some damage in the east. I havent seen the Warriors play this well since the Brouwer, Boyd, McArdle days.
