No less than 11 former WHLers on the Heat Roster, but only 4 on the Wolfs, with NONE drafted from the DUB, as Connauton was actually picked from NCAA. Baumgartner former 1st rounder, Schneider free agent, and Friesen Free Agent, who is currently in the CHL.

This is the major thing that pisses me off about the Canucks organization, that they have WASTED so many picks on NCAA players.(in general, not saying Connauton is a waste just yet)

Some people hate the Heat, and partly blame them for Chilliwack leaving, but that is nonsense, and we all know it here on this board.Personally, I love to see former DUB,OHL, and Q players play in the AHL, and make it to a few games every year.

Kesler was tabbed as third line checking forward with an arogance problem by many. Alot of people hated that pick and complained the Canucks were wasting too many picks on checking line forwards.

Kevin Bieksa played in the Ivy League and Dan Hamhuis played in Prince George. Last year it was Rypien and Glass. The year before that it was Hordi and Rypien. I can kind of understand the point but I don't think they are in that bad of shape with the squad they have. If they could add Chris Neil to Manny and Max it would be a great fourth line for another run.

You should follow a sport you could pick up on.
