From pictures published in Alik newspaper of Feb. 3rd 2003. Thank's Rshtouni.

Located near the site of medieval Jugha town, this church was known as the Pombloz Church or the Shepherd's Church. It probably dated from the 16th century. It was a small church, domed, cross shaped internally and square externally. It was surrounded by a graveyard from the 16th and 17th century.

I really find it very sick. Why must we kill and destroy? Is it our human nature? It hurts me to see that many historical items are destroyed on beliefs, what kind of belief justifies destroying all humanitys history? The taliban destroyed 2000 year old budha statues in afhganstan, i see no diffrents between this and what happened at Julfa (Jugha).
I also believe that the Azerbaijani officials should tell us the truth of what has happened there?
