Hi,Paddy!
Guns N'Roses is touring in Japan, right now.
It seems most of my friends go to see their shows, and everyone says surprisingly Axl is smiling on the stage and waving his hands to the fans!!

no upcoming gigs for me, I'm still waiting to happen to see dream theater's images and words anniversary tour!

Babymetal is a strange one for sure. I really like them but I can see why people hate them, in that it's like a Japanese idol (or girl-group as we'd say in the West) set-up but with a metal backing band.

Babymetal's backing band is made up of some of the best musicians on the Japanese rock scene though - Takayoshi Ohmura and Mikio Fujioka are the main guitar players and they are/have been teachers at one of the biggest Tokyo music schools.

Anyway - I will always be thankful to them as they were my introduction to Japanese music, without them I wouldn't be aware of the many incredible bands that Japan has to offer.

Yeah, you are right, Tim, I think one of their outstanding point is its professional backing band members and
cute little teenage girls are doing heavy music with them.
I don’t often listen to their music, but it’s easy to hear and see them from TV or somewhere.
Then, I’m wondering what’s happen when the day will come they are growing up enough, I mean physically.
I guess you know what I meant.
