In all the years around Hyak I have never seen the lower hill cut so well. The slope cutter cut EVERYTHING down to just a few inches including any and all small trees. Now I hope they go up-slope before the snow hits...

Cool! I hope the rest of the hill is as well taken care of as that.

Thanks for the heads-up!

As of Thursday it didn't appear so. I saw no more activity, so I assume they are done with their cutting, but you never know.
I haven't been up on the hill so I don't know if they are cutting up on the runs around Creek/Kendall/Rampart/Etc.....

It looks like there has been some upper slope cutting in the normal areas below the Oly and Little Gold unload, but not nearly as good as the lower slopes.. About 2" of snow today and it was still snowing off/on at 3PM when I left and 32 degrees. I'll add a photo later.

It would be great if they were able to cut at least the lower face...it is so deep in brush...I would like to see the left side of the middle chair cust as well so we can have room when TAS takes the right side of the face...one can continue to hope!
