......I know alot are into PB. I had a buddy I roomed with 30 yr ago. I had a 760 and he had a daisy powerline. I think they were both 650 fps +/-. We used to shoot 250 or more everyday. Lots of fun and no complaints!

I mostly use my indoor range now.

How about up there?

Montana airgunners take 4 forms:

1) Average joe or jane goes to walmart and buys whats on the clamshell, and the pellets underneath it. could be dad keeping the crows out of his garden or a kid spending his birthday money

2) 4H club bb gun shooting (4 position) 5 meter with bb guns (the good ones fro Daisy). 7-14 or so, boys and girls. Oh, and FWIW, it aint all that easy

3) International/Olympic 3 position (high dollar guns, jackets etc)

4) me. Fer as I know, I am the only guy shooting AGs in FT in the state. Was a guy in Missoula that was interested, but he's dissapeared from the radar

We have the same thing.... open land to shoot yer big magnum.

SO what's havlf way from Bozeman to yer place?

....and yes, plenty of open land - love it!

Great summary of AG'rs, I think Wyo's got #1 & #2 groups but not sure about #3 & 4. My youngest daughter shot in a youth group many years ago at our Rec center. She thinks my new 13xx's are "pretty cool" and has shot them better than me!

Sweet! The Mrs. is artist in Residence in the Tetons couple times a year. She's going back down soon second week of Sept. I think. But I'm reducing my travel to save for the NAts or I'd come down for one of the week ends she's there.

'Course, never need a reason to go, some time with the Mrs, she has busienss ther (write it off ) and great food....

Day at range, and she can go do what she needs to
