How Do they shoot when Used in a Crosman "Scoped"13XX or 22XX Steel Breech Gun..or a Cr. 180 in .25?

I Have the Lathe to Make a New receiver, aluminum

Is there any Loss in Velocity due to(.007) Groove depth? I'm Guessing the Longer the Barrel the Faster? How about Accuarcy?

Any Help is Appreciated

If I were to have a barrel from TOW in .25 or .22 with a length of approx 32" ...would that slow down the pellet?

thanks

if you can provide a push it will gain well

As long as there is some 'push' to the pellet I don't think it slows down.

What you gonna build Ernie?

So far the design includes..

34" Stainless main Disco tube.
Low profile breech such as the long RJ breech or even the Crooked Barn breech
Disco valve and components
Approx. 32" TOW .22 barrel long enough to come right to the front edge of the 34" Disco tube.
Figure eight barrel band with dovetail for hooded front sight
Marauder trigger group
Rear 100 yd tang sight.

1885 Browning High Wall BPCR style stock or Quigley style stock.

A few guys have done rifles with Quigley style stocks, but nobody has done a rifle with a 34" sight line just like the real Quigleys and Creedmoore High Wall BPCRs have.

The rifle can be built, its the stock that is a problem. Unfortunately, the stock maker that can do it is not taking custom orders and the other stock makers that could possible do it are big time out of my price range.

I'm going to put together the rifle and hold on to it, maybe in the future I'll be able to get a stock for it. I was even thinking about a wire stock with the sam angle as the Quigley with some type of grip on it...i'll see.

Thanks Walter...

What Pellet(s) work Best in that Barrel, Light(20 Gr. or Heavy!25+---->Kodiaks?

I've heard that it was too tight in this T O W bore!

I'm either gonna do a 1325 of my Own since I have the FT Piston & FT Valve alreadyJust need a .25 Cal bolt & the .25 Barrel(Possibly an 18.5" Long)which I'll cut,Crown & Port Myself or Put Barrel on My Crosman 180

Pyramid has .25 Cal RB's !
