this is my 1322 selfcontained pcp:

it was kinda cool for a while but it took 400 pumps to fill it to 1500. it shot 18g JSB over 600 fps. 10 shots from 1500 down to 1000 psi.. i have a thread on the gta somewhere if you guys want me to find it. i scrapped it for parts. too much pumping! it would work way better with a 392 but i don't want to drill holes in mine

Baby Indipendence!!

What is the air efficiency of the stroke to shot count once fully charged? Or, how many pumps are required to bring it back up to 1500 psi from 1000psi?

I think using the small piston on such a build is a huge benefit in regards to effort. The Benji would make you pretty tired, unless, of course, you have arms and man juices like Rob and I.

Sweet gun! Really!!

either i was doing something wrong or it just wasnt very efficient. getting it to 1000psi was an easy 200 pumps or so and then there last 500 psi took another 200. i got it to almost 2000psi once and that took me like an hour of pumping! ugh! i quit counting after 700 pumps or something like that

i actually like pumping my benjis waaaay more. the leverage is perfect, and yeah, im pretty buff i have no problem pumping them 15 or 20 times (and by that i mean i CAN, not that i do all the time) pumping that little 1377 piston is actually harder for me than a benji and hurts my elbows. thats one reason i sold mine just recently. i think it has something to do with having to hold the pistol grip while pumping

after 1500psi the gauge looks like its not moving at all, but if you just kept at it, it does.
i bet if the valve had a rubber seal coating the face instead of just an oring, paired with similar piston face and an O-ring for a check valve, headspace could be drasticly reduced and efficiency would be much better
